Advice and information about writing wills
Writing wills can be an exhausting ordeal, requiring a great
deal of thought and reflection - it is often a process one would
prefer to tackle alone. On top of that, solicitors charge fees for
writing wills, and this can put many people off seeking their
advice.
However, writing wills which will hold up legally is a difficult
process, and it is inadvisable to undertake it on your own, even if
you use DIY will kit or an online service to do so.
Writing wills may be reasonably simple if your affairs and
beneficiaries do not present a particularly complex situation, and
in these cases it may be possible to draft one yourself - though it
is best to consult an expert at writing wills, such as a solicitor,
in order to ensure that the will is legally viable.
In more complicated financial scenarios, writing wills can be a
tremendously convoluted process, and if this is the case then it is
probably best to leave it to an expert at writing wills to lay out
your wishes accurately and suitably.
