Would a Last Will and Testament kit really work?
There are many online services or retailers which offer a Last
Will and Testament kit, allowing you to create a will yourself. But
is a Last Will and Testament kit good value for money, and will it
ensure proper administration of your estate after you pass
away?
The problem with using a Last Will and Testament kit to create
your will is that the legal terminology involved can be complex,
and there is no way to be sure you have done a good job without
seeking out a legal advisor to look over it for you.
While a Last Will and Testament kit may seem ideal if your last
wishes are simple, it is easy to overlook or misunderstand what's
required, and this could mean major problems for your loved ones in
the future.
A Last Will and Testament kit is a cheap and easy solution - but
a cheap and easy solution may not be the best idea when it comes to
your will. If you are concerned about the cost of paying a
solicitor to help create a Last Will and Testament, you may be able
to claim financial aid or consult with another kind of legal
advisor.
