Help and assistance while drafting a will
Drafting a will is a difficult process. There are many online
forms and services that promise to make drafting a will quick and
easy - but, while some may be well-intentioned, it is a bad idea to
leave drafting a will up to chance like this.
Drafting a will is legally complicated, and should always be
done - or at least checked over afterwards - by a qualified legal
advisor. Otherwise it may turn out that the will is not legally
viable - and by this point it will be too late for you to make any
clarifications or corrections you would have wanted.
There are steps you can take to make drafting a will easier -
and if you are on low income or over 70, you may qualify for legal
aid to help with the costs - but ultimately you need to consult
with a solicitor to ensure your will is watertight.
