How can I get a tax rebate?
You might expect it to be enormously complicated to claim a tax
rebate. Most people do - that's why the government currently
possesses an estimated £200m in overpaid tax alone. They've got no
real incentive to figure out what they owe to whom and send them
that money in the form of a tax rebate, so the responsibility falls
to you.
The average tax rebate works out at around £1200, and it's not
actually as difficult a process as you might expect. There's no
need to go through tax rebate companies or financial experts -
doing it yourself can cost as little as a phone call and could net
you hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
