At least a million people in the UK overpay taxes every year -
so the likelihood is that you've paid too much tax at one point or
another. If so, you're entitled to claim a tax rebate, which on
average works out at £1,200.
But how do you claim a tax rebate? Many don't claim theirs
simply because they imagine it must be a complicated and
disorientating process. This is the feeling many of us get when we
even consider anything to do with taxes.
But it isn't that difficult to claim a tax rebate. Ignore the
companies who offer to claim a tax rebate on your behalf - for a
price, of course - as they just don't want you to know that you can
easily do it yourself.
