How you can get credit card refunds
We've all made bad purchases at one time or another - products
that didn't work as advertised or services that weren't up to par.
And sometimes it's difficult to get your money back, whether it's
because of a retailer who's impossible to reason with or a business
that's gone bust.
But if you paid between £100 and £30,000 and made the purchase
on a credit card, you do have another option - credit card
refunds.
The legal standing of credit card refunds was set down by the
Consumer Credit Act 1974, which places the onus on the credit card
company to cover the costs incurred by the consumer in the
situations described above.
Credit card refunds are your legal right - they're part of your
agreement with your credit card provider, so don't be afraid to ask
for them.
