How to get a credit card refund
If you paid for a product or service priced between £100 and
£30,000 which turned out to be unsatisfactory in some way, and
you're having trouble getting your money back, you may have another
option. If you paid for it with a credit card, refund legislation
allows you to claim the cost back from your credit card
provider.
Section 75 of the 1974 Consumer Credit Act covers credit card
refund and ensures that you won't be left in the lurch if you make
an expensive purchase from a retailer who turns out to be
impossible to contact or goes into administration.
Whether it's an online transaction gone wrong, or a retailer
selling faulty goods then going out of business, you're covered for
a credit card refund.
