How does a credit card guarantee on faulty goods work?
If you've paid between £100 and £30,000 for what transpired to
be an unsatisfactory purchase, but are having problems getting your
money back from the retailer or service provider, a credit card
guarantee under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 could be the
answer.
Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, the companies who
supply your credit card guarantee that they will refund your money
in case of a transaction such as the above where you are entitled
to a refund from the seller but cannot get one for whatever
reason.
This credit card guarantee is there to add an extra layer of
protection for the consumer when making purchases, so you shouldn't
be afraid to use it.

out, be sure to read our free Section 75 Claims guide.
