When it comes to consumer rights, credit cards have a lot to offer
If you make a lot of purchases with your credit cards, you may
be interested to learn about consumer rights. Credit cards
companies are actually expected to take some responsibility for
products or services purchased by their customers.
For example, you may make a purchase with your credit cards
which later turns out not to be satisfactory - it is defective, not
what was advertised, never arrives, etc. Under Section 75 of the
Consumer Credit Act 1974, which establishes certain consumer
rights, credit cards entitle their users to claim refunds from
their credit card company if the seller refuses to or cannot be
contacted, and if the purchase was priced between £100 and
£30,000.
So, claiming back money from the credit card company when
someone rips you off is well within your consumer rights. Credit
cards entitle you to such protection.

claim your refund, you can read our free Section 75 Claims
