According to the Financial Ombudsman, PPI is widely mis-sold

In a recent announcement from the Financial Ombudsman, PPI claims are said to be on the rise. Payment Protection Insurance, which is intended to allow you to keep up repayments on a loan should you suffer a loss of income, has been widely mis-sold - to the extent that, according to the Ombudsman, PPI complaints are upheld in a staggering 80% of cases.

There's an obvious conclusion to be drawn from this announcement by the Financial Ombudsman - PPI compensation is worth pursuing.
