Information on the FSA PPI ruling
According to the Financial Services Authority (FSA), PPI - or
Payment Protection Insurance - has been widely mis-sold. In the
outcome of a recent report by the FSA, PPI compensation owed to
consumers works out to over £4 billion.
These are the results of a recent investigation by the FSA. PPI
is intended to ensure a borrower can continue repayments on a loan
if they should suffer a loss of income, but, as established by the
FSA, PPI is more often than not sold to people who do not qualify
to claim or who did not want PPI.
Fortunately, if you are a victim, you may be able to claim
compensation - and according to the FSA, PPI compensation averages
£1,560.

"I just had to put pen to paper and write to say I'm more than delighted with my settlement that you won me back from my PPI I had with Lloyds TSB. The Claim Forms were simple to fill in. It was a breeze"
