Financial mis selling of Payment Protection Insurance
According to independent watchdog the Financial Services
Authority, Payment Protection Insurance mis selling has caused
problems for thousands of borrowers.
Financial institutions mis selling PPI with loans has resulted
in a great many consumers paying for insurance policies that they
would never be able to claim on.
Common causes of mis selling, the Financial Services Authority
said, involved people not having the PPI explained to them, having
it added to the loan without their knowledge, or being told it was
necessary to take out the loan.
Mis selling means that many customers did not have their
financial situations assessed and were sold insurance despite not
being eligible for it.

"I just had to put pen to paper and write to say I'm more than delighted with my settlement that you won me back from my PPI I had with Lloyds TSB. The Claim Forms were simple to fill in. It was a breeze"
