Know your tenancy rights
If you experience landlord problems one of the best places to
seek help is your local council.
Housing officers from your council can help you in cases
where:
You are harassed or illegally evicted by your
landlord. Under The Protection from Eviction Act 1977,
these are criminal offences that your council has the power to
prosecute for.
Your landlord fails to meet obligations such as
the provision of rent books or failure to give information
concerning charges and insurance to long leasehold tenants.
Your utility services are cut off and among the
tenants is an elderly person or young child.
In all these cases, housing officers will assist you and
investigate your complaint and work with your landlord and the
authorities to find a solution.

"I just had to put pen to paper and write to say I'm more than delighted with my settlement that you won me back from my PPI I had with Lloyds TSB. The Claim Forms were simple to fill in. It was a breeze"
