BMI Complaints

Got a BMI complaint and wondering what to do next?

So you have a complaint about a BMI flight and are wondering what to do next? Start by checking their website and look for their complaints procedure policy. It is in the "Contact Us" section. Follow it exactly.

Should you be unsuccessful with your BMI complaints and you feel you still have a case then other sources of advice include the Air Transport Users Council on 020 7240 6061, or visit complaints@auc.org.uk.

You may also wish to pursue your claim in your local county court.  Our Guide to the Small Claims Court is a great place to begin.

Also, according to Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, you can claim compensation directly from your credit card company to cover the costs of your flight cancellation, as long as the tickets cost more than £100 and were purchased with a credit card. The CCA is a very powerful tool for consumer protection. The credit card providers would prefer you didn't know about Section 75 as it leaves them very exposed.
