Reclaim Credit Card Charges
MBNA credit card charges
31 March 2010If you have an MBNA credit card, you may have had to pay penalty fees at some point. MBNA, like other financial institutions, impose credit card charges on their customers for a variety of reasons. But, since April 2006, the Office of Fair Trading has had a limit placed on how much credit card companies can charge you for default fees.
The upper cap for any individual credit card penalty charge is £12. If MBNA, or anybody else, has forced you to pay more than this at any one time, you have the right to contest these fees and have the money you paid refunded.
We unfortunately no longer handle claims for credit card charges, although we would like to direct you towards our mis-sold PPI claims service, which could make you £1000s better off.
This service is No Win No Fee, so you submit your claim with no risk for yourself, and once you give us your details, we do all the hard work for you. So if you'd like to reclaim money that you are owed, just enter your details on the right.
