Credit card disputes over unfair charges
Your credit card company may be overcharging you with late
payment fees or fines for exceeding your credit limit. While
legally they are permitted to charge you in these situations, the
Office of Fair Trading has issued a ruling which caps this fee at
£12, and if you have paid more than this you are entitled to
dispute this and demand a refund.
You could be eligible to reclaim a large amount of money if you
are able to dispute excessive fees from your credit card
company.
