Scores of consumers still sitting on mis-sold PPI bounty

Many claims still to be made

by Kurt Charity, 19th August 2011

Many UK citizens are still unaware of the entitlement that they have to large sums of compensation for the mis-selling of PPI (payment protection insurance).

Despite the degree to which this PPI scandal has been publicised, it has apparently escaped the attention of millions of people who are yet to reclaim the money which is rightfully theirs. Either that or these people have decided not to claim, perhaps because they have failed to comprehend just how much money they could receive.

PPI is not an intrinsically bad product - its purpose is to provide cover for people who suddenly find themselves unable to make payment due to dramatic changes in circumstances - however, the scandal erupted because banks were found to be widely mis-selling it to people who were either not eligible for it or had not been made aware that they were signing up for it.

So great is the volume of valid claims that customers have against the banks that they have been forced to set aside huge amounts of money for compensation payouts alone.

Anyone who believes they may have been mis-sold PPI for any reason (there is a long list of things which constitute mis-selling) is advised to consider making a claim, as the success rate is very high, especially when using an experienced claims company.

If you would like to enquire about mis-sold PPI and make the banks pay the price for their duplicity, simply give us your details by filling out this form.

"I just had to put pen to paper and write to say I'm more than delighted with my settlement that you won me back from my PPI I had with Lloyds TSB. The Claim Forms were simple to fill in. It was a breeze"
