Bank charges claiming back

Bank charges - claiming back - the facts

When it comes to bank charges, claiming back fees which were unfairly levied onto your account was a popular and fairly simple undertaking a few years ago.

Unfortunately a November 2009 court ruling put paid to this, coming down on the side of the banks rather than the Office of Fair Trading, and it is now the case that, in situations involving unfair bank charges, claiming back the money lost is now practically impossible except in cases of financial hardship.

However, it is still true that you are able to reclaim such charges as Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) premiums, so if you have been ripped off by a bank or other financial institution, the possibility of monetary recompense may not be so far-fetched.

Unfortunately, as with bank charges, claiming back other PPI policies can be somewhat difficult at times, particularly in more complex cases. That is where Claims Financial can help. We are specialists in many fields, including mis-sold PPI; claiming back your money couldn't be easier than with us.
