What the bank charges ruling means for you and future claimants
It will be open to us to continue to process claims with the
threat that if the bank does not make a refund we will issue
proceedings in the County Court arguing that the charges are unfair
on some other ground. Banks may be eager to settle these cases in
order to prevent any possible precedent which might circumvent
today's ruling.
